Testimonials

I am a mother of two small boys (20 months and 5 months) and attended Miss Kacie’s early childhood classes when my first son was just 5 months old.  This class is like no other music class that you will ever experience!  I am a music teacher myself and have sat through music classes put together by other children’s organizations. Miss Kacie is, by far, the most enjoyable and developmentally appropriate class I have encountered.

You can expect an organized, clean, peaceful atmosphere that focuses on the child and their interaction with the music, not on DOING music activities.  The music she uses is rhythmically, tonally and ethnically varied, enticing your child’s musical palate.  The structure of her class is fluid, moving through transitions with ease and holding the attention of the children at all times.

Miss Kacie leads both parents and children in movement and song, while simultaneously noticing each child’s responses to the music.  She is not only a teacher of the students, but also of the parents.  She will show you, as a parent, what she is observing in your child and how tonotice these same things as you experience music with them in your daily life.  And to add to her credits, she is a mom herself; able to understand firsthand the stage that your little one is at.

Kacie Wooster's Early Childhood Music & Movement class was exactly the kind of class I was searching for to enhance my children's interests they were showing in Music!

Ever since my son was 18 months old I had been looking for a music class that was fun, instructive, and affordable. When my daughter turned 18 months old and was showing interest in singing and music, I knew I had to find a music class. Thank goodness I found Kacie Wooster.

My son, who is now four years old, and my daughter, who is now two years old, have grown musically by leaps and bounds! They now repeat and create their own rhythmic patterns and can recognize a melody and repeat it.

The class has been a great experience for both my children. They laugh, play, and move, all while learning what it means to be 'musical'.  The best part is that Kacie actually sings during her instruction allowing parents and children to sing along rather than using recorded music.  I have found this to have a powerful impact on how the children perceive music. They are learning that it's something we listen to and create.

I have recommended this class to many other families and their children. All of these other families have grown to love the class as much as I have, and, in turn, have recommended it to other families. I am confident your experience will be just as fulfilling as mine.

Our family has had the privilege of learning from Kacie in both her early childhood music classes
and through her individual piano lessons. We have found that she is inspiring, enthusiastic, and
knowledgeable at all levels of instruction. In her early childhood music classes, Kacie is engaging and
purposeful in her teaching, never missing the changing needs of the smallest child. She clearly explains
to parents what and why she is doing what she does, and, most importantly, the kids have FUN with
music! Likewise, in her individual piano lessons, Kacie is always looking for new ways to keep my older
son engaged and interested while at the same time encouraging him to deepen his understanding and
skill. She creates lesson plans specific to the individual child, allowing students to study the types and
kinds of music that interest them, while at the same educating them in more classic pieces. Choosing
Kacie Wooster as your children’s music teacher will allow your children to thoroughly lose themselves in
their own love for music at the hands of a masterful, creative professional.

My daughter and I have participated in Kacie's early childhood music class twice in the past year. Kacie is a very engaging and energetic instructor. My daughter enjoys the different musical activities and props that Kacie introduces each week. It is fun to see her sing the different songs at home while she plays with her own toys. I would recommend this class to any parent looking for an interactive parent-tot program.

My daughter Ruby, who is 2 1/2 years old and I have participated in two sessions of Early Childhood Music and Play Classes and have enrolled for our third class this summer.  The classes have given her exposure to music in a fun way all the while providing her additional social interaction with other children.  I'm amazed at how well she has absorbed and retained the music.  She often begins singing the songs from class out of the blue while playing at home.  Every week, Ruby looks forward to going to music class with Ms. Kacie and seeing her friends.  Ruby plans to introduce her little sister to the class in 2014.

Both my daughter and I immensely enjoyed Kacie's music class!  It was such a great opportunity for us to engage in something new and learn together.  She has such a way with children and is truly talented at what she does!  I will be recommending this class to all of my family and friends!  Thank you Miss Kacie for making my daughter's first class experience a positive one!

I can't say enough good things about our experience in Kacie's early childhood music class. She is a quality educator who truly cares about the musical progress of her students, and genuinely loves working with little ones. My son and I had a great time singing the songs in and out of class, and I got some fun ideas to use in my own elementary music classroom, as well. Kacie is a credit to the profession and has a patient and warm nature with children. Can't wait to come back!
